Full-stack engineer.
Systems thinker.
Ships end to end.

I'm a full-stack engineer who ends up owning the whole vertical slice — the interface, the service layer, the data model, and whatever infra keeps it alive at 3am. I like products where latency and correctness both matter.

Most recently I've been building real-time systems: dashboards that can't lag, pipelines that can't drop events, and tools other engineers actually want to use. I care as much about the on-call experience as the demo.

Outside of shipping, I mentor junior engineers, contribute to a couple of open-source dev tools, and occasionally write about the tradeoffs nobody puts in the README.

PulseGrid

Real-time infra monitoring

A monitoring dashboard for infra teams that can't afford to lag — agent telemetry streams in over gRPC into Kafka, batched into ClickHouse for fast aggregate queries across millions of data points, with a WebSocket layer pushing live deltas straight to the dashboard.

  • ›Cut alert-to-dashboard latency from ~12s to under 400ms
  • ›Ingests 40k+ metric events/sec per cluster in current production traffic
  • ›Custom query layer on top of ClickHouse for ad-hoc drilldowns

Fluxline

Personal CLI tool

A CLI for mocking and contract-testing HTTP APIs against an OpenAPI spec — catches breaking changes in CI before they hit staging.

GoOpenAPICI/CD
- for (const o of orders) o.items = await db.find(o.id)
+ const items = await db.findMany(orders.map(o => o.id))
↳ flagged: N+1 query — one round trip per order in the loop

SyncForge

AI-assisted code review

A collaborative review tool that surfaces likely-risk diffs and drafts first-pass review comments, so human reviewers spend time on judgment calls instead of nitpicks.

Summary

Senior full-stack engineer with 9+ years shipping production systems end to end — frontend, backend services, and the infra that keeps them running. Strongest where correctness and latency both matter: real-time dashboards, event pipelines, and developer tooling.

Experience

Senior Full-Stack Engineer · Meridian Systems

2022 — Present
  • ›Led the rebuild of the real-time monitoring dashboard (PulseGrid), cutting alert-to-dashboard latency from ~12s to under 400ms
  • ›Re-architected metric ingestion onto gRPC and Kafka with batched ClickHouse inserts; the resulting WebSocket layer streaming live deltas is now used by 4 other product teams' dashboards
  • ›Mentored 3 junior engineers; ran the team's biweekly architecture review

Founding Engineer · Quarrio

2019 — 2022
  • ›First engineering hire; built the core product from prototype to 200+ paying customers
  • ›Designed the initial data pipeline architecture (Go + ClickHouse), still in production today
  • ›Hired and onboarded the first 6 engineers on the team
  • ›Set up CI/CD, on-call rotation, and incident-response process from scratch

Software Engineer · Fernbank Analytics

2017 — 2019
  • ›Built internal tooling for the data science team, cutting report turnaround from days to hours
  • ›Extracted the reporting and ingest services out of the monolith as part of a two-year decomposition
  • ›Introduced automated testing to a codebase that previously had none
